i hate it when my friends have to see my bad side
as erin and i are having a semi-serious conversation last night
some jackass decides to join our conversation with the kind of comments you might expect a douchebag to make
i glare at him... the comments do not cease
i tell him to "shut the fuck up"
now he's pissed
now in my opinion if you are at a party, going out of your way to be a cocksucker you should expect to be told to shut the fuck up, if you don't expect that well... then you are just and arrogant cocksucker
a few more words were exchanged and i lean in to my friend an say "i'm going inside now"

later the asshole was passed out, leaning against the house, half-dead because he coulden't handle his beer so that gave me some satisfaction

well last night was good
it ended weird
and it is up for debate whether or not someone wanted to fight me
so i walked home
drunken rambled to the girl who lives in the room next to me
i woke her up to do this

which is never that great of an idea
so i am going to withdraw from life for a little while

there is this red brick building with a green awning that i work in
when i am inside this building i feel like i can do no wrong
i feel like no girl is to pretty to talk to, like no guy is big enough to touch me
this can create problems
for instance: the fact that dating customers is a terrible idea thus being able to talk freely with even the most beautiful of girls will not help me find a date
the biggest problem is that, in the real world, i feel the exact opposite
i clam up in front of girls, and avoid confrontation as much as possible
i have become too comfortable and reliant on the fourth coast
my social life pretty much revolves around the place. and that must stop.
from now on
i will be spending as little time in that building as possible.
i will go in there for work, and come home, and little else.
though home contains the ever-present problem of being on the computer too much. i'll address that one later.

and i'm getting a phone goddamnit.

in about four hours i am going to play the BIGGEST show of my life
i've been wondering, does that mean i have to play the "best" show in my life?
or is it good enough in the grand scheme of things that it is the BIGGEST
